

The first part of this step is to obtain your system's Redirect URL. In addition to following the instructions below, your IT staff will also need to provide you with the MaxInactiveTime value for your institution's Azure Active Directory setup. Once the app has been registered, you will receive a unique Application ID and Client Secret, which LibCal needs in order for OAuth 2 sync to work. Although you may prefer to ask a member of your IT staff to do this step, it is not required.

Register the LibCal app for your institution in Azureīefore you can activate the Microsoft Teams integration for your LibCal system, you must first register the LibCal app for your organization. If desired, you can create completely separate Azure registrations, one for Outlook calendar syncing and one for Microsoft Teams, each with their own permissions.

While these different functions can share the same details, they don't need to.If you already have LibCal registered in Azure for Outlook calendar sync and also want to use it for Microsoft Teams in the same LibCal system, you can use the same details, but be sure to check the section for permissions and make sure the Azure app permissions encompass the required permissions for both Microsoft Teams and for calendar syncing.

If you have an additional LibCal system (under a different domain), each will need its own registration set up in Azure.If you're already using OAuth 2 to sync LibStaffer, you'll need a separate registration set up in Azure to work with LibCal.The Microsoft Azure registration details-that is, the Application ID and Client Secret: Value-can be used within the same Springy product, but not shared across products. IMPORTANT: depending upon your organization's consent framework settings, an Office 365 administrator may first need to approve a user's app authorization before they can connect it to their Teams account.This will allow them to start scheduling virtual appointments & online or hybrid events using Teams.
